The car was built on an original 930 Turbo chassis by Bob Johnson of Minneapolis, MN to 1974 RSR specifications as follows:
The former owner had the car built for over $100,000 plus the cost of the car. It is very well sorted and has recently been mechanically freshened by Bob Johnson, including complete engine rebuild with no more than 30 minutes on fresh engine. The car is very fast, well balanced, and safe because of the substantial roll cage. Brian Redman said this was one of the most well balanced 911s he has ever driven. It has been extremely reliable, as it has finished every practice session and race ever entered.
